The grapes for this Chardonnay come from the cool Carneros region, perfect for preserving fresh acidity and a beautiful fruit balance. The wine is partially fermented and aged in oak barrels, where it remains on the lees for 9 months and is regularly stirred (bâtonnage) to enhance its creamy texture. Partial malolactic fermentation provides that characteristic buttery softness, while the fine acidity keeps the wine lively and elegant.
