Smashed Black Beans
This recipe for Smashed Black Beans from Simple Truth® and Simple Truth Organic® is sure to add a simply better side dish to your repertoire.
15-oz. can Black Beans
1 tsp. Ground Cumin
1 tsp. ground coriander
1 tsp. kosher salt
Juice of 1 lime
Drain the black beans; empty into a small mixing bowl. Add the cumin, coriander, salt and juice of 1 lime.
Using the back of a fork, smash together the black beans and seasonings for 5 to 10 minutes.
Serve warm or room temperature. Refrigerate any leftovers.
